Scavenger Hunt Sunday 04.01.12
After another crazy, busy week, it is time for another Scavenger Hunt Sunday. This week's items are Clouds, Sun flare, Seven, High angle, and Low angle.
I actually just got around to taking this photo today. This week was so busy that when we had clouds with blue sky, I wasn't able to photograph them. When I did have time, we had overcast skies with nothing but ugly, gray clouds - not very interesting. So right after church today, I managed to capture the few wispy clouds that were around. And I got some sun flare in there too.
Okay, so technically this is sun burst, not sun flare. (Although there is sun flare in the above clouds photo, as I mentioned.) But I couldn't resist photographing Alex in his new, cool mirrored sunglasses. And I just had to share his coolness with you. :)
The craft the kids made at church Wednesday night in order to understand the true Easter story has seven beads on it. Each one with a specific meaning.
I bought these tulips while grocery shopping this past week. They were just so bright and cheery ... they called to me. :) Hopefully I'll get them planted this coming week. Once I weed my overgrown flower beds.
I also bought a bouquet of cut flowers while grocery shopping and while I had them outside photographing them, one of these purple flowers fell off, which gave me the perfect opportunity for a low angle shot. Wow, that was a really long sentence. :)
So those are my interpretations. Be sure to head over to Ashley's to check out some other great photos. And if you'd like to play along, next week's hunt is sponsored by none other than moi. :) Yay! Now I better be sure to play along. Wouldn't want to miss my own party. :) This is what to look for this week ...
