Scavenger Hunt Sunday 11.11.12

First of all, THANK YOU to all those who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces!  We appreciate all you do so that we may remain a free country!  Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to my father-in-law for his time served and to my nephews, Zachary (Army) and Kyle (Marines), for your current service!  You guys ROCK!

Now, onto this week's Scavenger Hunt ...
We've had this guy visiting us lately.

This vintage camera was given to me by a friend.

This is a birthday card that my mom gave to Keira back in September.  I set it on my desk with the intention of photographing it but never got around to it until this week.  My 9YO son calls me paparazzi, usually while he's running away from the camera, so my mom thought I would be able to relate to this card.  :)

Last month when we visited a farm, we picked up some gourds and other things to use as fall decorations.  The lady there informed me that this squash is edible so I could cook it once I was done decorating with it.  Yeah, right.  Like that's ever going to happen.  :)

I don't really know if this is this week's best, but something about it caught my eye.  So here you go.

Be sure to head over to Ashley's for more fabulous Scavenger Hunt photos.  And if you'd like to play along for next week, the items to be looking for are ...

  1. Vision
  2. Strong
  3. Buttons
  4. Map
  5. Favorite Fruit
Have a great week!

I love that vintage camera! That deer is pretty adorable, as well. I tried to take a photo of a deer today, but my little point n' shoot just wasn't cuttin' it.
