Hello! Welcome to my little piece of the interwebs. I'm glad you stopped by! My page is currently under construction. A work in progress, shall we say. So please excuse the mess. :)

Please let me know you were here by leaving a comment. That way I can return the visit! And if you'd like to grab my blog button, scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Creating a Masterpiece

Before I get to my post, two things ...

1.  I changed the setting on my blog for comments.  Anonymous comments will no longer be accepted.  Why?  Because I am getting bombarded with SPAM!  I must delete a dozen or more spam comments daily.  Any other Blogger bloggers getting pummeled?  Hopefully this change will still allow you to comment without me having the headache of deleting junk all the time.  Please let me know if there is a problem.

2.  There is still time to enter for a chance to win the Abel's Field DVD.  Go check out my review about it and if it interests you, be sure to leave a comment.  Oh, and I guess you'll need to ignore the statement about anonymous comments being allowed.  :)

When Alex was home from school last Thursday because of strep throat, he asked me if he could paint.  I happened to have a piece of white poster board here, so I dug out the few paints that I had left and let him go to town.  I asked him if he minded that I take some pictures while he worked.  (Some days he yells at me for taking his picture.)  He said it was okay so I sat and watched him paint.

And I rinsed the foam brush out between colors.  :)

And, of course, played a little with my camera.

It was fun watching him take a completely blank "canvas" and create his own little masterpiece.

I will have to buy some more paints and poster board - and a variety of brushes - and let him create more often.  It was very soothing and we now have this beautiful masterpiece to display.

Did you remember to get permission to publish the pictures online? LOL. That's a smart, confident kid. If he's brave enough to tell you, he's certainly brave enough to tell anyone.

You always have the most beautiful composition in your images Kimberly!

Sorry to hear about the spam- I get a ton of it. I do have a spam filter with wordpress so it does catch most of it. But there are days when I have 30+ messages in there. Sad that these people have nothing better to do.
