Project Life ~ Week 8

So remember last week when I said I was hoping to get week 8 done and be able to get current?  Yeah, didn't happen.  I chose to do some other things, like make this Kindle Fire cover/stand and spend time with a few friends.  I also got pulled into a book and spent more time reading it than working on my pages.  No big deal though.  I'm still only one week behind.  At least, that's what I keep telling myself.  :)

Still using the Seafoam edition.  I changed the color of a few words on the title card to make them stand out.  I also changed the color of the letters on the filler card so it coordinated better with the page.  Did you know you can customize your colors with the paint bucket tool?

I also had to think outside the title card for my "week 8" title.  It just didn't go well on the title card with all those words already on it.  And changing the opacity didn't work because it made the red turn pink.  So "week 8" is over on my journaling card.  As a creature of habit, I will have to adjust.  :)

I like those vertical layouts. Good job recoloring things to work for you. The pages look great. Love that shot of you outside that your son took--it's nice!

What perfect fishtail braids! I can never get mine to stay in - they always want to fall out :(

I also LOVE the way you colored certain words in the title card - great idea!
