If you are looking for an adorable book of prayers for your little one, check out Roma Downey's Little Angels Prayers for Every Day.
This board book contains short rhyming prayers that cover a typical day and the typical worries of a young child. There are prayers of praise, prayers for morning, prayers of thanks, prayers for help, guidance, forgiveness, and comfort, just to name a few.
Alex and I have been using this book to practice his reading, although it is geared more toward preschoolers. Alex likes it because the prayers are short and relatively easy to read. So it is encouraging to him to be able to read the prayers without much difficulty.
We have been enjoying the book and you could also enjoy your very own copy. Just leave a comment stating one fun thing you do with your kids (or grand kids) at home. Do you have any traditions? For instance, we have popcorn and movie night on Friday nights. My kids look forward to it each week. So what do you and your kids do for fun?
I will randomly draw a winner to win a copy of the book on Wednesday, March 13. So be sure to comment before midnight on Tuesday, March 12.
