VeggieTales ~ The Little House That Stood

Our family has loved VeggieTales videos for quite some time now.  I honestly don't remember which video was the first that we bought, but we have quite a collection now.  And even though my kids aren't so little anymore, they still love their Veggies.

The Little House That Stood is the latest VeggieTales DVD.

In true Veggie fashion, the lessons taught in this video are done in such a way that they are fun and entertaining while getting a great point across.  Actually two great points.  One is that if we build our lives on a firm foundation (God's word), even when the storms of life come (and they will!), we can stand strong.  The second story teaches us to offer help to those who need it (the story of the Good Samaritan).

And, of course, squeezed in between is a Silly Song by Larry.  It will definitely make you smile.

And appreciate your teeth.

I let the kids watch this DVD earlier this week and when I asked Nick what he thought of it he said,
"I really really really really really really really really really really really really liked it!"
He probably actually said "really" a few more times than that.  I'm thinking that maybe perhaps he liked it a little?  :)

The Little House That Stood DVD will be released on Tuesday, March 5.  But if you'd like an opportunity to win your own DVD copy, just leave a comment telling me your favorite children's video.  You have until midnight on Thursday, March 7, 2013, to enter.  I will randomly pick a winner and announce it here on my blog on Friday, March 8.

If you'd like more information about the video, here are some links to check out:

Thanks!  Have a very Veggie day!
